Silverhawks Kids Meal Box from the 1987 Burger King Promotion
Silverhawks. The space cousins of the Thundercats. Another great series from the 1980's. This item comes from my huge. odd-ball collection of merchandise from popular (and not so popular) 1980's brands.
I believe that there were 2 or 3 different box designs available. This one tells the story of an unwanted stow-away hiding in Hawk-Haven. You have to help the Silverhawks find him.
Box Design #1 features Silverhawks like Quicksilver , Steelwill , Steelheart , Bluegrass , Copper Kidd and Stargazer. They also have puzzles, mazes and more peices for the Silverhawks Tic-Tac-Toe.
These have been in my collection for as long as I can remember. They have never been used, and have been carefully stored away until I could properly display them, but my collection is so large, that I do not think that is ever going to happen.
