In 1988, Sir Michael Fay challenged the United States for The Cup in the majestic "big boat" KZ1 a 134 foot sloop. His Challenge came to grief when the crafty Dennis Conner defended in a lightning fast catamaran, The Stars and Stripes with the outcome subject to lengthy and acrimonious legal battles in America. Stars and Stripes was sponsored by Marlboro. You get this 80 Page magazine in mint condition with a Marlboro Hat souvenir. The magazine has pictures of the "big boat". KZ1 and the Stars and Stripes, Dennis Conner's catamaran.
Pages from the magazine are shown with a letter from President Reagan and several other pictures from the magazine.. The hat is one size fits all with a gathered back (no cutout) The hat is also in mint condition.
