THIS AUCTION IS FOR A 1988 UNCIRCULATED COIN SET ISSUED BY THE US MINT.  THE SET CONTAIN 10 COINS;  TWO KENNEDY HALVES-(P&D), TWO  QUARTERS (P&D), TWO DIMES-(P&D), TWO NICKELS-(P&D) AND TWO PENNIES-(P&D).  THESE COINS ARE AS PRODUCED FOR CIRCULATION BY THE  MINTS AND PACKAGED DIRECTLY FROM THE COIN PRESSES.  THE SET WILL COME TO YOU IN THE ORIGINAL MINT PACKAGING.  It is in EXCELLENT condition.  All coins are "like new". I bought this set in 1988 and sealed it away for the ensuing 20 years and opened it the other day and to my happiness it looks just like it did when the Mint sent it to me.  Face value is $1.82 and the issue price  was $7.00!!  IT'S WORTH MORE THAN THAT TODAY.

The set will come to you in its original packaging and envelope and the Mint's specifications folder for the coin set.

INSURANCE  IS  OPTIONAL for orders to be shipped to an address in the continental United States.  My experience is that almost all uninsured domestic parcels safely arrive at their destination undamaged.  I do my best to package each item so that it will not be damaged in transit and so that it does not appear to contain anything of special value.  If you wish to take the small risk to save money I am willing to mail uninsured upon your understanding that the BUYER ASSUMES THE RISK OF NON-ARRIVAL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE PARCEL if you do not add insurance money to your winning bid.

However, If you wish to add insurance, please feel free to do so. It will cost you $1.65 for insurance up to $50; $2.05 for insurance up to $100, etc. See the shipping and handling section below for my estimate of the cost of the optional insurance for this auction.

 I accept PayPal, money orders, bank checks and personal checks.  Please allow 10 days for personal checks to clear.  Items will usually be shipped within two business days of receipt of payment by PayPal, bank check, or money order.

On orders to be shipped out of the continental United States I will generally require insurance on items which I believe will have a winning bid of over $25.00.
