The scanned images depict this coin fairly well, but can't due justice to the overall appearance of this One Peso coin from Cuba, issued in 1989. Pretty copper-nickel coin with outstanding white satin luster and tons of eye appeal. Minimal marks and an attractive hint of gold at very rim edge that highlights nicely and adds beauty. Absolutely minimal marks and wonderful strong strike. Obverse depicts national arms, date and origin. Reverse depicts TANIA LA GUERRILLERA and dates 1937-1967, plus date 1989. Terrific meaningful coin from Cuba for any quality collection. This item was part of my husband's collection. He is terminally ill with cancer and wants me to sell all of his private collection, coins and currency. I have three minor children to raise and so I comply.
