I purchased this truck over a year ago and not only was it the nicest 89 Ford I have ever seen it was a very nice rust free solid truck by any standards. Frame and cab on this truck very solid, no rusty areas, frame has most of it's original undercoating. This truck was very well maintained by the original Mercedes dealership that purchased it and by the owner that I purchased it from and by me. Hard to find 4x4 automatic combination. Truck starts right up and runs fine, you can switch on the PTO and run the bed and winch. Oil was always changed every 3,000 with Rotella-T 15w40. This truck never got stuck anywhere in any weather and pulled any vehicle that I have hooked onto. The rear section of the driveshaft was removed for towing, it is sitting in the cab on the floor. I was T-boned in the drivers door by a lady who ran a red light. Truck has a bent frame and pushed in cab corner. The drivers side tool box is also smashed in. I reserve the right to cancel any bids from members with low feedback scores, if you have low a low feedback score and want to bid and will pay call me first. I also reserve the right to sell locally and cancel this auction at any time. OK guys. I'm getting hammered on questions on whether the truck runs or not. This truck starts right up and will drive. I drove it home from the accident scene. But remember, the truck is wrecked and the frame is damaged. I can't guarantee that it will be fine to drive a long distance without ruining something else. I would strongly recommend it being towed and straightened before putting it on the road. Now hopefully I won't get the 300 "Will it drive to Hawaii questions". You will not find a cleaner 1989 rollback with 4x4. It kills me to let this truck go but I have no use for two trucks. I hope this answers the "does it run" questions. Thanks.
