1990 PRO SET GOLF CARD SET KENNY PERRY RC PGA TOUR

Buy It Now or Best Offer: 1990 Pro Set Special Inaugural factory sealed 101 count PGA Tour golf card set. 75 PGA Tour player cards, 25 Senior Tour player cards and one PGA-Senior Tour Logo card per set. What a cool set of golf cards this was when it came out in late 1990, it was the first golf cards produced since the 1982 Donruss so more than half of the cards are rookie cards. Each card has a good action photo on the front and second pic plus bio and stats on the reverse. Some of the notable first time or rookie cards are Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Kenny Perry, Rocco Mediate, Payne Stewart, Paul Azinger, Nick Price, Greg Norman, Davis Love and Bill Casper. Other notable players but not rookie cards are Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson, Tom Kite, Peter Jacobson, Mark O'Meara, Curtis Strange, Fred Couples and Craig Stadler. The box says "Limited Printing" but Pro Set let the presses roll like the government is printing money today, too bad or this could have become as highly sought after as the 1981-82 Donruss. Despite over production, Pro Set did a great job in creating a good looking golf card, it is a set evey collector or golf fan should own. Looking over the stats on the reverse side is very interesting, particularly the driving distance and money earned.
