Auction is very nice condition mid 1990s Fender Telecaster Squier / Squire.

 

Black with grey/blue pearl pickguard.  Made in Mexico / MIM

 

I bought this about a year ago used from GC and they SWORE that it had Texas Special pickups in it.

 

I did pop the pickguard off when I first bought it and it did have upgraded pups.  I will get some pics up of this soon.

 

Neck and frets are in great shape.  Neck has taken on a nice tint compared to some of the almost pure white on some of the newer MIM stuff.  I was actually surprised to find a tele this old (and in black no less) in such nice shape.

 

Don't let the Squier name fool you.  These early MIM Squiers were very nice and not produced for too long before production switched to Asia.
