The scanned images depict this coin fairly well, but can't due justice to the luster and overall appearance of this 1 Yuan coin from China, issued in 1991 and commemorates the 1978 Party Conference - Tiananmen Square.  Popular nickel plated steel coin with full lustrous appearance and strong eye appeal. There is a wonderful hint of gold at very rim edge that adds beauty. Minimal marks and sharp detail, and will be a welcome addition to any World coin collection. Obverse depicts coat of arms, date. Reverse value and scene commemorating the 1978 Party Conference - Tiananmen Square. Terrific bit of Chinese history for any collection. This item was part of my husband's collection. He is terminally ill with cancer and wants me to sell all of his private collection, coins and currency. I have three minor children to raise and so I comply.
