This unusually shaped 'HOUR GLASS' VASE has been decorated with COBALT glaze with a leafy pattern on the front and back. The greyish color is shaded from the varying temperatures on the salt-glaze kiln. It is truly a striking piece of pottery. Phil Morgan, known world over for his cyrstalline pottery, also is an expert at 'traditional' pottery. This is just one example. The vase is in like new condition.
