You are bidding on a 1994 Cat 416B Turbo Backhoe, 4x4, EROPS, Extend-a-hoe, heat, 5187 hrs. The seat was just re-upholstered. It is a clean, tight, strong running machine. Everyone that has come out to look at it has been very impressed with the machine but hasn't been in the right place financially to make the purchase. Their loss is your gain. I purchased it back in 2002 and did excavating as a side business (did mainly septics and driveways). In 2005 I used it full time in my own excavating business, but I was the only one that ran the machine (I have never loaned it out). I did site prep for houses, driveways, and septics. I did that for about 1 1/2 years. Since then I have been running it off and on around my house and a few jobs for neighbors. I bought it from a friend of mine that had it for several years. It has been well maintained, greased, oil changed...etc. It has been a great machine for me, but I just don't have a real need for it anymore. As far as blow-by goes it doesn't burn any oil, I noticed a very small leak, but to be expected with the age of the machine. What doesn't work or needs repair: lights & horn need to be regrounded and the blinker switch needs to be replaced (which I already have, just haven't put it in), there is a very small nick in the shaft of one of the stablizer bars in that when they go in and out of the dust shield it leaks a little hydraulic fluid. Other than that, all the gauges work, the 4x4 works, the extend-a-hoe works, all- around great machine.
