Up for auction is our 1995 John Deere skid steer loader. I bought this machine in 2005 from someone who bought it new in 1995. The machine starts right up and runs great and was working on the job until today. It is being replace by a track skid steer because of all the rain and mud we are trying to work in right now. The machine comes with a 4 ton equipment trailer with electric brakes, it also comes with a set of pallet forks and a Caterpillar light material bucket that is 72" wide, it also has a 66" regular bucket. Now for the details, the machine is 14 years old so the are some problems but they don't seem to affect the use on the job, first the tires, which are foam filled, have very little tread left on them, the pins and bushings are worn, the boom drifts down alittle if you let go of the foot pedal, one of the quick attatch levers is broken so i use a pick to lift up the pin to change attachments, the parking brake doesn't work, the fuel tank leaks if you fill above 3/4 full but otherwise doesn't leak, the seat belt safety switch broke so I installed a toggle switch to bypass it. It still runs great and starts in cold weather. I try and tell people all the problems so you know what you are getting. There might be a couple minor problems but it still runs like a champ. The trailer comes with a bill of sale. This is a NO RESERVE auction so if you bid you could win so be able to pay for and pick up the machine within 10 days of auction close. This is an AS-IS sale.
