You are bidding on a Sankyo Model SR84-37 CNC Pick & Place Robot w/ Sankyo SC3000 Robot Controller and complete fixturing station used in conjunction with an injection molding operation.    The SR8437 SCARAs represent Sankyo's 7th generation of high performance assembly and handling robots. Featuring a polished and flexible industrial design with all internal cabling, these SCARAs offer excellent application performance; i.e., a combination of speed, precision and reliability. Not only do these SCARAs work 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 52 weeks per year in standard industrial environments, but versions also excel in Class 10 clean rooms, dirty/hazardous environments, and in wet/splashing applications. With usability and serviceability features throughout, and with their meeting UL, cUL, RIA and CE standards, they are a valuable addition to any manufacturing organization where productivity and quality are essential. The Sankyo SC3000 Robot Controller, with a size not much bigger than a VCR, packs a powerful punch for its small size and price. It incorporates a 68020 main processor and a separate RISC processor for motion control.  It is also equipped with the Hand Pendant Teach / Control Pendant, Model OP3000 and all cables (2 boxes).

We bought this about 2 years ago from a company which had used it in conjunction with an injection molding machine. That job ended and it sat idle for a few years BEFORE we bought it. It has LESS THAN 10,000 hours use, which in robot terms is very little!  We were told it was in perfect condition, but we have no tapes, manuals or books, so we are unsure what it is going to take to get it running again after sitting idle for so many years.    I do know that just the components have to be worth more than our asking price.      Below are some photos, please allow time for them to load.
