“Dancing Around the Christmas Tree”

 

This beautiful plate entitled “Dancing Around the Christmas Tree” by artist Ingrid Jensen is the 1st issue in the “Children’s Christmas” series from Royal Copenhagen of Copenhagen, Denmark.  This is a special gold Lettered First Day of Issue Edition produced March 1, 1988 and come complete with a plaquette featuring the motif in miniature.  Made of finest porcelain it measures 6 ½” in diameter (miniature plaquette 3 ¼”) and is in mint condition in its original box with COA and paper.
