The 1998 Corvette Convertible is your ticket to freedom. There's nothing like an open top to give you that elusive feeling.   This is the C5 Corvette, completely re-engineered with stiffer frame and increased supports. 

Detailing on this Franklin Mint car is similar to their other later offerings.  One thing that is different from previous models is this one has a trunk that opens.  The tonneau cowl for the top also opens, revealing the folded top inside.  There is also a removable cloth convertible top so you can display this either top up or top down.   

It features opening headlamps, a fully functioning suspension, detailed engine bay and terrific interior detail.  This car has the body side moldings and the ½ shafts.  Most of the 1998 Vettes had missing ½ shafts and a non-working rear suspension.  This car also has the CD in the dashboard.  All-in-all, this is one of the rarer versions of this Corvette.

This car is in MINT CONDITION and probably was never displayed.  It comes with the Hang Tag and is packed in the Styrofoam Liner and Outer Shipping Box.  Paperwork includes the Certificate of Authenticity/Schematic.  Don't miss this terrific car.  You won't be disappointed.
