Featured in this NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful GIBSON Chet Atkins SST Guitar, finished in Ebony.  It has a single round cutaway Mahogany Body with a hollow sound chamber, 5-stripe bound Solid Spruce Top with a factory Chet Atkins signature, Mahogany steel-reinforced adjustable Neck, 21-fret Ebony Fingerboard with Pearl Star Inlays, Ebony Bridge with black pearl-dot pins and Pearl Star Inlays on the Bridge Wings, Blackface Peghead with Pearl Star/Logo Inlay, Three-per-side Gold plated Tuners, Transducer Bridge Pickup, Rotary Volume/Treble/Bass Controls on the rim of the upper bout, and Active Electronics.  

It is a wonderful and natural-sounding instrument, which looks beautiful, plays easily, and which is well-balanced when played while either seated or standing.  It is in excellent condition, exhibiting a few surface dings and minor scratches from normal use, not abuse.

It is hand-autographed on the top by B.B.King -- it was done years ago, and the COA or other supporting or verifying documentation for that signature has been lost or misplaced.  The instrument is therefore priced in this auction as if it were unsigned.

It has been well-protected in its original GIBSON form-fitted plush lined Hard Shell Case, included here for one bid.
