1998 Martin SPDC-16RE - VINTAGE ACOUSTIC - 1 OF A KIND

You are bidding on a one -of-a-kind 1998 Martin SPDC-16RE with a custom dual pickup configuration featuring a Fishman piezo pickup with onboard drop-in box controls combined with a soundhole condenser mic with an external blender!  Simply put, this guitar has an amazing sound and incredible playability.  I am the original owner, have written over 200 songs on it, and done countless performances.  This is important because each time you play a guitar, the tone grows.  If you compare the sound of this guitar versus a new guitar, this Martin blows it away.  It begs you to pick it up, play it, and write a song.  Martin only made this Specialty Dreadnaught Cutaway (SPDC) from 1996-2000, and it is very rare to find one for sale as it is a collectors item (you can confirm this by doing a seach via the internet or look at past sales inside ebay).  

I have kept this guitar in mint condition.  I polished it EVERY TIME I changed the strings and have kept it in the included hardshell case when it was not being played.  I recently became an endorsed artist with another company, and signed an agreement not to play other guitars.  I am selling this beauty soley because of this.  The internal condenser/pickup combination makes this a recording DREAM GUITAR!  This is not the goofy mic that is on the underside of the dropbox, but a diaphram condenser perfectly positioned in the center of the soundhole behind the strings.  I love this guitar and you will too.  Please contact me with ANY questions you have or if you would like me to take additional pictures.
