The scanned images depict this paper money fairly well, but can't due justice to the overall appearance of this gorgeous 5 Gulden bank note from Suriname, issued in 1998 by CENTRALE BANK VAN SURINAME (Central Bank of Suriname) . Crisp uncirculated note with lovely blue, green and multi-colors. Strong eye appeal, with solid fairly even borders and wonderful strong detail. Obverse depicts building center. Reverse tucan and logging scene center. Serial number of the note is AH752599. Terrific bit of history from Brazil for any collection. This item was part of my husband's collection. He is terminally ill with cancer and wants me to sell all of his private collection, coins and currency. I have three minor children to raise and so I comply.
