Another nice collectible that has been hiding in one of my collection boxes for years. You are bidding on one (1) 1999 SP Signature #175 Akili Smith Rookie Card, Graded PSA MINT 9. This nice mint rookie card has been graded by PSA the leader in graded cards as MINT 9. This card is PSA #06300223. It would make a great additional to a registry set or to any rookie card collection.

Former professional football quarterback Akili Smith was born August 21st, 1975 in San Diego, San Diego County, California. Akili Smith attended the University of Oregon where played NCAA football with the Ducks and had an amazing senior year throwing 32 touchdown passes. The Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 1999 NFL Amateur Draft selected Smith, third pick overall, following Tim Couch and Donovan McNabb. Smith played for the Bengals from 1999 through 2002. In his four-season tenure in Cincinnati, Smith started 17 games (215 of 461 for 2,212 yards, with 5 TD passes and 13 interceptions). Smith played three preseason games for the Green Bay Packers in 2003 and in 2005 played in NFL Europe for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2007, Smith signed a two-year contract with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canada Football League (CFL).
