Place your bids on this 19th century $20 Canal & Banking Company of New Orleans, Louisiana obsolete or broken bank note. It is unissued (no hand-written signatures or date). This is an Uncirculated note, but for a tiny hole at the bottom edge, with a fancy brown back. It was printed by Rawdon,Wright, Hatch & Edson of New Orleans. The obverse is adorned with a central vignette of a female allegorical figure with an eagle, shield, Liberty cap, cornucopia and globe. Smaller vignettes show a classical portrait bust, steam paddlewheeler and George Washington in an elaborate oval frame. THIS NOTE HAS NOT BEEN PROFESSIONALLY GRADED. THE ABOVE GRADE IS AN OPINION OF THE SELLER.
