19TH C ITALIAN FILET LACE TABLECLOTH COLUMBUS GREETING NATIVES

Presenting an exquisite Italian figural filet tablecloth with large figural center rondel deplicting Columbus greeting natives on shore, caption "Colombo Sbarca A San Salvatore, from the turn of the century that measures 59" x 55". The wonderful darned figural designs are formed to darned clothwork with probable Italian origins. Cloth is in excellent condition, two very small oxidation spots, and with no broken brides, and is ready for shop or home. I have not washed this cloth. These earlier high quality Italian linens are becoming harder and harder to find from this time period, don't miss out!! This superb cloth is a work of art and is in perfect condition.
