19th C.Chic French Cane Caned Louis XV Full Bed

Here you have a Stunning French Country Louis XV full size Bed, dated: late early 19^th Century. Festoon of Gilded weave basket of flower crest, with decorative cared motif on the rounded shoulder frame on original caning, look closely at the octagon weave which is very small and tight. Original old lacquered creamy beige with partial gilding on the rosette carvings, the rails equally as gorgeous, held by cabriole legs. This is a European bed-frame, which will require a slight modification, measure your mattress for accurate fit, mattress area is: 55" W x 74" L. you may need to modify or replace the rails for the extra length.  This is an exceptional European bed, note the fine detail Festoon motif on the frame of this bed and well proportion it is, these type of beds are becoming harder to acquire, so don't let it get away.

* Condition * Expect normal wear considering the age of the bed, minor repair on the footboard caning, which you can't even tell (see photos). I recommend that you attached “L”brackets from the rails to head and foot board for added support plus may give you that extra 1 inch length.
