A fine and unusual Late Nineteenth Century gilt bronze inkwell in the form of a horse cart. The cart has two large wheels surmounted with a simulated wooden storage well with a hinged lid. The lid opens to the glass ink container. The cart is mounted on an oval fabric covered base. Condition: The gilding has some surface oxidation consistent with use and age. Dimensions: Height 4" with base, Length 6", Depth 3 1/4".

Buyer pays actual packaging and shipping and insurance. We use UPS for all domestic shipments and require a Non P.O. Box address. We ship USPS for International transactions. Email for pricing of international shipments. Minimum shipping charge is $10.00 and all packages are insured. We ship USPS only one time per week.
Buyer must make contact with seller within 3 business days or seller reserves the right to negate sale unless other arrangements have been discussed. PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 10 DAYS OF CLOSE (unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.) Seller reserves the right to require wire transfers on international orders. International buyers are responsible for any customs charges. If an item shipped internationally is lost or damaged, seller will not refund buyer until insurance money is collected by seller.
