19th C Native American Indian Birch Bark & Quill Box

This is an unusual 19th century Native American Indian Birch bark & porcupine quill box with a hand written inscription beneath the lid 'Sarah Bidder given to her by W Bowden Oct 16th 1872.

CONDITION  Some losses to the quill work - bsee photos below, overall wear is commensurate with age & use.

The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used.  See photos
