After being on eBay for more than 10 years, my microscope business has run its course and finally come to an end.
People are no longer interested in buying "QUALITY" microscopes and I can no longer compete with the Chinese and India markets.
The Refurbished microscopes I used to sell, AO & B&L (and many others) for $200 - $400 are now selling on ebay for less than $50 because people can buy brand new cheap plastic ones from India and China on here for an average of $150.00.
Just remember.....you get what you pay for and when your plastic microscope for $150 breaks down, the old die hard cast iron and steel microscopes that us repairers have been dealing with have been around for more than 50 years and are still working perfectly.
In lue of this, I am now clearing out my entire stock of ALL microscope parts. I will not sell a complete microscope because I can get more for the "parts" than I can get for my time & labor for my love of rebuilding these great microscopes.
