WENSLEYDALE WOOL TOP

 This listing is for 1 pound of some great fiber.  If you haven't spun wensleydale, here is your chance.

Wensleydale fiber is structured a little different than other wools.  It is LONG stapled with more curl than crimp, and has some sheen.  It has often been called "poor man's mohair" because the properties are similar to mohair than other wool breeds. It spins like a dream, and easy for beginners because of the length. 

For the above reasons, I would not recommend it for felting.
