Its been a while since i have ebayed but i have sold a ton of books on ebay with no hitches.  Its time to move and i am forced to sell my PERSONAL collection i have been gathering together for some 15+ years. 

All my books are 1st editions and FIRST PRINTINGS of the first edition unless otherwise stated.  Believe me i know the difference between a first printing and a later printing.  About all the books are winners of prestigious awards such as the Edgar, Anthony, Shamus, Booker, Pulitzer, etc.  I simply wont be able to list all the award winners but if you collect books you will know what you are looking at.

Most of the books i will be saving you time by listing it well below abe book's prices taking condition into account.

MOST of the books i will be listing are that particular author's very first book published and usually is in more demand that later novels and i also will be selling a ton of proofs which are very difiicult to locate - a lot of books will be available in both the first printing hardcover and proof to go with it so check out my other auctions.

I am meticulous about the condition of my books.  If i say Fine/Fine then i mean basically as new.  I WILL note even the slightest imperfections as i have received many books over the years that were way off when it came to the usual F/F condition.  But the books i am going to be auctioning off have mostly all been cherry picked and are about as nice a copy as you will find out there - especially the rare ones.  Just about every book's dustjacket is covered in mylar protector.

I am also careful about shipping - all my books will be carefully packed in bubble wrap and will get to you in the same condition that it leaves my office.  Postage will be $6.00 for the first book and $3 each additional.  A tad high maybe but again, i use a lot of packing material and it is not as cheap as it used to be.

*******SHIPPING NOTE**********--- If, however, you want to pick up a book just for reading (who would do such a thing!) -- and i'll have plenty of nice cheaper books that will make excellent reads --- then let me know -- if you arent that concerned with condition then i can ship a book for $3 first book and $1 ea additional.  You will still be able to read it when it gets to you - it just may have an extra bump or two depending on how much the postman throws it around.
