This
is one of my favorite minerals and I carry one like it
in my pocket every day. Yet, this one would be TOO BIG!!!
It is 752 carats!!! When you feel Kunzite, you'll understand
why. It is just so soothing and especially calming to
your emotions because Kunzite has a HIGH LITHIUM CONTENT.
This
particular Kunzite is in its rough form and is the
GEMMIEST PINK, even without the light's help. The
way you bring out the most color in Kunzite is by holding
it up and having the light come in from behind.
Kunzite is really a heart stone, and it lovingly connects
you to spirit and to see the spirit in others. What is
really cool about this sacred Kunzite is that it is DOUBLE
TERMINATED!!! It is perfect that it is a DOUBLE TERMINATED
point, which is a WHOLE crystal in itself with the ability
to both give and receive. This type of crystal also will
teach you about balance and personal unity.
This
mineral was named after one of the oldest and world-reknowned
gemologist, George Frederick Kunz. His famous book, The
Curious Lore of Precious Stones, was copyrighted in 1913.
At that time, he spoke about precious and semi-precious
stones having magical qualities. Kunz was way before his
time.
