BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

You are bidding on 2 Canadian coins.  They are legal tender (quarter) but with the PINK RIBBON in the centre of the back of the coin.  This is the second coloured coin to be minted in Canada. They were issued in April which is Cancer Awareness Month and distributed through Shoppers Drug Mart only.  They are a wonderful way to remind us of the growing problem of CANCER in our world to-day.

This coin was a joint effort of the Royal Canadian Mint and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

This is the second ever coin in general circulation with colour.  My picture does not begin to capture the beauty of the pink ribbon against the silver colour of the coin.

The coins you are bidding on are from a roll never in circulation.
