GOLD BASIN METEORITE

This Meteorite is awesome!!!! 

L4/L6 Gold Basin meteorite. Gold Basin's are typically L4, some have an almost gray matrix, but when cut, one could almost have a brownish matrix.

This is a stony-chondrite L-4/L-6 meteorite, and some even has some fusion crust on them. This meteorite is one of only 4000 known samples from a strewn field first found in 1997 by a metal-detecting gold prospector. It fell to Earth about 14,000 years ago.

The perfect, inexpensive sample to show off to Cub Scouts or a grade school class: A magnet is attracted to it, and most have chondrules that are visible with a magnifying lens.

Meteorite come with a information card also.
