This auction is for a Pair of Antique French Faience (Fayence) Lidded Urns with Grotesque Mask handles and a RED Fleur De Lis Mark for H. Savy Marsailles circa 1780-1800.
The urns are in fabulous condition and came from an estate which had a Large collection of the finest, near perfect and very old china that I have ever seen - it was hard to believe such a collection existed outside of a museum.
These urns are representative of the type of items they had.
The urns, which measure approximately 14 1/2 inches tall, each have two period hand painted scenes and two wonderful Raised relief Rams Horned Mask handles.
Both urns are in very good condition with no cracks, crazing or repairs and only a few very small chips and glaze flakes. There are four very small chips to the edge of one of the lids (please see photos) and several spots of glaze flaking (bumps) to the masks on one of the vases (again see photos) and some light wear to the gold paint.

We charge only for CANADA POST SHIPPING RATES plus the cost of packing materials (peanuts, bubblewrap and box) – with NO HANDLING CHARGE. I will combine shipping & insurance on more than one item if safe packing will allow for it. Payment must be made within one week from end of auction.
We accept Cashier/Certified check, Money Orders, or Paypal. Canadian residents must pay GST / HST sales tax – BC buyers must also pay PST - all other buyers are exempt these taxes. Although recommended, quotes for shipping will not include insurance unless requested.
Seller will not be responsible for uninsured items.
