This 2-bay FireWire enclosure provides a fast and easy way for PC and Mac users to add up to 2 additional IDE/ATA/ATAPI hard drives, CD-ROMs, CD-RWs, DVD-ROMs, DVD-RW/+RWs or tape backup drives to their system with ANY drive jumper combinations  (NO more messing with MASTER, SLAVE, CABLE SELECT, ...). It provides two 5.25 inch bays for IDE/ATA/ATAPI devices. 3.5 inch hard drives can be installed by using the Optional 3.5" to 5.25" HDD mounting brackets. The sleek looking case features a built-in 300W power supply with top quality high capacity cooling fan to keep the drives running cool.
FireWire connectivity makes this device appropriate for graphic design, video and audio editing/backup and comes in a size to fit any type of storage requirement. Four FireWire ports allow you to connect to additional FireWire/1394 or iLINK devices.
