2 Balls Brown Sheep Co.-Wildfoote Sock Yarn-Mums

Brown Sheep Company has to be one of the most underappreciated entities in the yarn world.  Those of you who like to knit and felt probably love Lamb's Pride like I do. But Brown Sheep is so much more than just Lamb's Pride.  For example, some of the prettiest non-patterning sock yarns around come from our pals over in Mitchell, Nebraska.  Here's one of them.

Wildfoote Handpaint sock yarn is an absolutely gorgeous blend of 75% washable wool, and 25% nylon.  Soft, lovely wool, of course.  But the sheen and silkiness of this yarn is really the star of the show.  And the tweedy mix of colors is great for socks plain and fancy. 

This item is for two 50-gram, 215-yard skeins of Wildfoote in Color 09, Mums.   Two skeins are required for an adult-sized pair of socks.
