I use this Mini Whisper Behind the Ear Hearing Amplifier to hear television again without turning the volume up so high that my wife tells me to "turn it down" I have also noticed that when I use it, it cures my wife's mumbling.... I gave one to my elderly mother and I don't have to shout at her when I visit. Years of power tool use and time have taken their toll and this device is surprisingly good for the money.
I was going to take the plunge and buy a costly $1,000 one, but now I don't have to. Each hearing amplifier is complete with a User Manual, 2 extra batteries (1.5V LR-44), and three different size ear tips. I will include 8 additional fresh batteries with this lot of 2 units for a total of 12 batteries----which is a really really good deal.
