Up for Auction is this great pair of vintage slipper chairs.  Their shape is most awesome as the low sitting; square effect with the short curved “v” / tapered backrest completes this stylish duo.  The ebonized legs are permanently assembled and do not unscrew as so much of the other vintage furniture with a similar leg does. This stationary leg offers a more sturdy support to the piece.

They are a muted orange tone and the upholstery as the photos show has snags and tears as well as a few stains.  I consider this a set to reupholster and reinvent covering them to best meet your needs as well as give you the satisfaction of a successful project.  Several modern mid and higher range furniture companies produce mid century knock off’s of slipper chairs from this era, however, I have yet to find a pair that match the design of these.

Each Chair Measures Approx: 26½ ” tall at back, 27” wide, 27” deep, 14” floor to top of seat cushion.  Weighs approx. 30 lbs. each prior to packing.

This auction is specifically for the pair of orange square slipper chairs primarily described and pictured,

all other items are either currently up for auction separately or used as props.
