You are bidding on 2 pattern books by Susan Sirkis  Book#1covers the years 1840 to 1845. Patterns are for a 13"doll but can be enlarged or reduced. They include directions to make your own rag doll and full size patterns for lingerie, night wear, stockings, shoes and boots, housedress, morning visiting dress, afternoon dress, walking dress, carriage dress, ballet costume, dinner dress, evening dress, ball gown, wedding dress.There are also other accessories included, wraps, purse, parasol, etc. 34 pages.  Book #2 covers the years 1853 to 1858  Patterns are designed for dolls about 13 1/2"tall.  A pattern for a rag doll is included as well as a pattern for the body of a porcelain doll.  Patterns are given full size for a robe, promenade dress, visiting dress, carriage dress, bloomer costume, dinner dress, evening dress, ballgown, court dress, wedding dress.  There are also patterns for headdress, accessories, etc.  38 pages.  Patterns in both books have easy to follow directions and could be enlarged or reduced to fit different size dolls.
