What is Henna?

Henna is a tropical flowering plant which grows in regions like India and Africa. The dye could be extracted from the leaf. Only natural Henna can creates red-brown stain. It’s commonly used for body art called Mehndi, it’s an ancient art in India for more than 5000 years ago. It creates beautiful temporary tattoos with floral motif which is important for ceremonial such as wedding. It’s also commonly being used to dyes hair, nail & fabric organically. It’s becoming very popular in western countries to use Henna as temporary tattoos. It’s fun and safe to apply it on various parts of the body.

How to apply?

- pull out the pin from the tip.

- before applying press the cone to release some paste.

- press softly and apply directly to skin.

- you may hold the cone like you would to a pen.

- clean the tip with a damp tower from time to time.

- to remove mistake wipe off henna with a damp tower.

- leave it to dry for at least 1 hour, leave it longer for better result.

- gently scrap off the hardened paste with your finger nail.

- after scraping it off do not wash it with water for several hours.

- you may leave it overnight for much deeper color & long lasting.

 

optional: for best result, cover your hand with 2 to 4 drops of Mehndi Oil before applying henna. To deepen the color and to help the design to last longer, apply a thin layer of oil over the design before henna gets too dry. Buy Mehndi Oil from our store for only $1.89!
