You are viewing 2 John Deere Farmers' Pocket Ledgers. They have calendars on the back cover dated 1941-42 & 1952-53 respectively . Paperbacks in relatively good condition, Stapled bindings are both firm and undamaged. Both have a small hole in the upper left that goes through all the pages, looks original to me. Missing a corner at the top right on the pages of the1942 dated one (see scans), but the cover is intact. No loose pages. The 1942 dated one is from Bassano Alberta (75th annual edition). The one from 1952 is the 86th edition from the town of Innisfail Alberta. They are composed of 3 sections. The first section has numerous pages of insights, machinery pictures, and advice for farmers. The center section is a page calandar for making notes and there are some entries by the original owners in each one. The back part has more pictures and specs of the farm equipment of the day. Actually quite an interesting record of wartime farm equipment and techniques. Well worth the price for such a concise historical record.
