Ratings and Definitions of Condition:
Mint (M). Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played or still sealed. We use this rating very sparingly - if at all.
Near Mint (NM). LP cover, inserts, e.g., lyrics sleeves and booklets have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable flaws. LP shows hardly any signs that it ever has been played.
Very Good Plus Plus (VG++). A Very Good Plus Plus LP may show some signs that it was played a few times. LP surface may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches/hairlines that do not affect the overall listening experience. The cover may have some ring/spine wear, discoloration or writing. Inner sleeves/booklets may have some slight wear. The LP cover may have a cut-out hole, corner indentation not disturbing the overall condition of the LP itself. LPs in VG++ conditions are found to be a highly desirable addition to a personal collection or for a profitable resale opportunity.
Very Good Plus(VG+). Conditions as described in VG++ may be found in a more pronounced way on LPs in this rating. Surface noise may be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages but not overpowering the music. Wear may be noticeable. Scratches may affect the sound in places. The cover and the labels may show some writing, or have name stickers attached. Still a very desirable item for music collectors and fans of this particular artist/group.
Very Good (VG). LP in Very Good condition may have some surface noise and scratches. The cover or sleeve may have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. The inserts might show frequent use. But, if it's something you have been seeking, and the price is right, you should not hesitate to purchase this item.
