Solid foods are no longer a choking hazard. The SAFE BABY FEEDER allows you to feed your little one fresh foods of your choice. It is so easy with our drop-in bag system. Drop the mesh bag into a retainer ring, place food in the bag and screw tight! It is that simple.
When baby is about 5 months of age, fill the bag with ice or frozen fruit and it becomes the perfect teether. As baby cuts teeth, the SAFE BABY FEEDER becomes a necessary feeding device. Food must be chewed, and then swallowed. Babies with front teeth bite and swallow. This is a dangerous time for your little one. Without molars to chew food, choking can happen at any time you are feeding your baby solid food. The BABY SAFE FEEDER helps with the transition from sucking to chewing while reducing the high risk of choking.

A baby must work and chew to get all the food through the mesh bag. The Safe Baby Feeder teaches the baby to chew instead of biting off chunks of solid food and trying to swallow or inhale it down into the lungs or throat where it will cause damage or worse.
Your baby gets all the good taste and nutritional value of fresh food. The varieties of foods that can be put into the SAFE BABY FEEDER are unlimited.
Check with your pediatrician for age appropriate foods for your loved one. The older your baby is and the more teeth that he or she has, the more foods you can put into the feeder. Your baby will empty it and hold it out to you for more.
It is not a pacifier. When your baby is finished, take the SAFE BABY FEEDER away. A soapy toothbrush helps to remove food particles. Some foods such as bananas are more difficult to clean out of the feeder than others (try a white vinegar soak or baking soda). Wash it in hot soapy water or put it in the dishwasher on the top rack so it is ready for the next use.

At what age would a baby need the SAFE BABY FEEDER and what can I put in it? |

From about 4 or 5 months old when a babies gums are sore, until approximately 22 months, they love frozen grapes, frozen chunks of melon, cold fruit, cold raw carrot etc. soothes teething pain.
As your baby gets older any age appropriate food can be put into the SAFE BABY FEEDER such as meats, teething biscuits, vegetables, fruits. Put a wedge of apple in the bag your baby will make applesauce. The skin and seeds will remain in the bag. When dining out your little one will enjoy their meal and you will enjoy yours. It is a fun, safe and easy way to feed your baby fresh food without added salt, sugar or preservatives. |

As soon as baby is finished take the feeder away. Rinse or use a soapy toothbrush to loosen food particles (sprayer on kitchen sink works well). Some foods such as bananas are more difficult to clean out of the feeder than others (try a white vinegar soak or baking soda with vinegar on a brush). Wash on top rack of dishwasher (use utensil basket) or wash with hot soapy water rinse well. We purposely made the mesh bags white so that moms and caregivers are sure that the bag is clean for the next use. |
