The Morel Elite ET338 is the newest version of the famous MDT33. The new IDR (Improved Dispersion Recess) technology borrowed from the flagship Supreme line enables wider high frequency off-axis dispersion, resulting in a smoother overall performance. The magnet system is a powerful triple magnet design housed within a thick aluminum casing. The back wave from the dome is vented into an acoustically damped chamber within the magnet system, minimizing internal reflections and lowering the resonant frequency. Packaged in acoustically matched pairs, a measurement document for each pair is included in the packaging. The ET338 is employed in several very high-end commercial speakers including the Peak Consult Typhoeus ($110,000).
