These shaft locks are designed and rated for military use. The shaft lock prevents control shaft, such as potentiometers and control knobs from rotatin under conditions of shock, vibration, or accidental contact. These also form a dust and waterproof seal at the shaft and also at the panel surface. These are use on 1/4 inch shaft, and fit on a control bushing thread size of 3/8 -32 NEF-2.
