Here are two cookbooks that have New England recipes in them. Both books are in like-new condition, with no creases or bumped corners.
#1 ~ NEW ENGLAND COOKBOOK - 300 Fine Old Recipes - edited by Claire S. Davidow and Ann Goodman. Published by Culinary Arts Books in 1986. The booklet has 48 pages, including an index. It has recipes for a variety of traditional good food, like ~ Vermont Graham Bread, Old Hartford Election Cake, Sailor's Omelet, Yankee Oyster Pie, Maine Rye Pancakes, String Beans with Bacon, Cream Filling for Gingerbread, Rhubarb Marmalade, Breaded Veal Cutlets, Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie, Lyonaise Potatoes, Broiled Guinea Hen, Dumplings, Maple Sugar on Snow, Crab Meat Salad, Brown Gravy, Baptist Cakes, Ginger Snap Cookies, Clam Chowder, and MUCH more. The book measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". It has a very small, light stain on the back cover.
#2 ~ Yankee Magazine's Great New England Food Festival Recipes - This booklet has 32 pages, and includes recipes submitted by particular people from New England. The cooks highlighted are ~ Marilyn Neumayer from Manchester, Connecticut; Deedy Marble from Ludlow, Vermont; Elaine Stiles from Northampton, Massachusetts; Nancy Shapiro from Northampton, MA; Ken Haedrich from Rumney, New Hampshire; Steve Zakon from East Sullivan, NH; Don Reid from Glastonbury, CT; Brooke Dojny from Westport, CT;Jeanne Lemlin from Great Barrington, MA; Tom Hopewell from Woodstock, VT, and Karyl Bannister from West Southport, Maine.
