In the backcountry?) This will tell you how the tent will be transported. If it is going to be used mostly in the backcountry, then weight should be a consideration. If wet weather is often encountered, look for a rainfly that reaches all the way to the ground. If camping in typically dry weather in spring, summer and fall, a tent with an awning fly (a partial-coverage fly with "awnings" over the doors) may be adequate. If snow camping, plan to look for a four-season tent that features heavier construction with a lower profile, designed to withstand more wind stress & heavier snow loads. Great 4 season tent for the money. I have paid three times more for lesser quality. If you put a big name on it people (even tent snobs) would rave about it. It packs small for a 4 season tent, nice poles, not to bright and flashy and well designed. In winter it handles a fair snow load, almost draft free and retains body heat well. Spring it is dry with just the rite amount of ventilation and a rugged water tight floor. The fall is like the spring minus the wet, blends in well with fall colors. Last fall it was used on a bicycle trip along the Erie canal towpath totaling 340 miles with 6 nights spent in the tent. Summer you will roast with the fly on above 80 deg., with the fly off it has just the rite amount of air flow. The construction is good and the zippers are of a average weight, the material and screens are better than some I have seen from the more popular brands. There was only one thing I had to do before I was truly pleased with the tent. That was I coated the tent poles with talc powder to allow the poles to slide freely through the pole sleeves. The tent has been set up and slept in around 50 times with me and my son or just me alone with no issues to speak of. Overall I think the tent is a great value.

The High Peak Enduro is a great tent, great value. It is a 4 season tent so it is a little more time consuming to set up than some others I have had. It takes a little patience to get the poles through the sleeves. and there are a lot of stakes involved. Once you do that, the tent is stable, taut, and secure. I have had it in 15 mph winds with gusts to about 25, and it didn't wiggle or flap. Ventilation with the fly in place is excellent. Compared to most "2 man" tents, it is roomy inside. It accommodates my Arctic bag nicely. The zippers work smoothly, and are well laid out. It packs up into a very compact unit. I wanted a good base camp tent and that is exactly what I got! The quality of construction appears to be excellent. I am definitely happy with it. My order was processed quickly and I had it in just a few days. Good job Timber Wolf!

I really like this tent. It was easy to setup and while it rained most of our trip, we were dry.
