Up for auction is a two row John Deere planter. This unit was originally pulled by a horse or mule, but was converted so that it could be pulled by a tractor (a tonge was added at some point prior to me purchasing it). It has been sandblasted and painted and is in remarkably good condition for it's age.
The seed and fertilizer hoppers have some rust-through, and the seed hopper lids are gone, but still hold seed. This planter is still very useable for putting sweet corn in your garden, but would also be great to bring along to the tractor shows. All the old-timers would get a kick out of seeing one of these again!!!
Also, if you want something very rare and distinctive as a focal point on your farm or home, this would also make a fantastic item in your landscape.
The winning bidder is responsible for pick-up. Loading will not be a problem, you will just need ramps.
I accept PayPal, check or money order. Thanks for looking !!!
