2 Save Batteries to fix pokemon Game Boy Red Blue Gold

Two save batteries  - CR2025 - the exact size that is used Pokemon games - BLUE, RED, GOLD, SILVER, and CRYSTAL. If you need a battery for Pokemon yellow please see my other listings.

Does your Game Boy game work but will no longer save your progress? Most likely the battery inside your game cartridge has gone dead. They can be easily replaced!

Tools needed to replace your game save batteries are:

Nintendo Security bit to open up the game cartridge.

Soldering Iron 

Solder Flux

Just heat up your soldering iron, open up the game cartridge, then while lifting the battery upward, just touch your soldering iron on each of the soldered tabs, this will remove the old battery. Then just put a little flux on each of the tabs on your new battery, hold the battery in place while holding your soldering iron on each tab until it melts the solder onto the tab. Thats it! Done in less than a minute and your game will save like new again.
