This is a pair of unusual fossil bird bones from a site in South Carolina. Included is a fine large toebone & also a partial legbone. This should make a great pair for research or a collection. The larger bird bone measures 7/8" (22mm) in length. The winning bidder will receive the exact fossils pictured! They were found in Oligocene age deposits, in the Chandler Bridge Formation, near Goose Creek, South Carolina. The site was in a subdivision known as "The Hamlets". Thanks for looking & good luck. |
