This lot consists of 2 trade cards which advertise businesses dealing in agricultural implements. As seen in Scan #1, the card on the left is from the Walter A. Wood Company from Hoosick Falls, New York; the piece on the right is from the manufacturers Bickford & Huffman of Macedon, New York. These are pre-1900 vintage cards and feature colorful graphics and interesting information.
As for condition (see Scan #1), the front of the larger card has a small crease at the three of the corners; two are quite mild and one is a bit heavier. The surface detail is clean with nice gloss. Light touching is present at the corners. The smaller card has light creases at both bottom corners, as well as evidence of mild edge wear and rounding at the corners. Surface staining is present in the form of two rings in the subject field. Scan #2 shows the reverse sides. Again, the larger card is clean and unmarked; the smaller card has the ring stains transitioning from the front, as well as a handwritten notation near the top edge.
Please review the scans. Questions emailed to me will receive a prompt and accurate reply.
