This auction is for a beautiful ALL leather, authentic replica football helmet from the 1920's and  30's.  It's made with the exact same quality, care, heavy-duty leather, and hand stitching, as was used over 85 to 100 years ago!  The leather is a rich, with exact stitching and placement of leather strips as used in the original designs.  The helmet is made with the same design, including the same positioning of all interior helmet straps for head cushioning. The helmet is a FULL ADULT SIZE helmet as it's made after what was warn at that time, and believe me, some of them had big heads, but this helmet will fit most all adult sizes.  (Please keep in mind that this helmet is NOT intended for actual use, nor meant for your protection in ANY way at all!).  The helmet comes with the stained wooden stand that is available in our other auctions to help display the old game day helmet in your office, game room, or trophy hall.  Please make sure to let us know if you bid on both so we can ship the stand for free with the helmet if you bid on it.  This is a beauty! Each helmet our company makes is done with intense time and care by hand.  Aside the logo placement, which is of course an added feature to represent team support, everything is done with the same technology as from over 85 years ago.   Nothing beats the feel and look of our 100% authentic replica helmets!! 
NOTE:  Each helmet has a protective leather sealant that will prolong the life of the helmet.  We recommend airing the helmet out for 3 to 5 days, outside, before displaying the helmet.  The sealant does not make the helmet waterproof, it's purely meant to prolong the life of the leather itself.  Should one wish to have the helmet in snow or rain climates outside for periods of time, we strongly recommend applying a waterproof/resistant product to protect the helmet, but in order to keep the authentic look of things, we think keeping it the way it is will probably look best for display, all depends upon how you would like to use it.
