You are bidding on 2 pieces of vintage antique 100% linen tatting or hand tatted lace table runner or dresser scarf. There are hand tatted lace on both ends of each runner.One is a gray beige ecru color and medium wwight linen, measures 16x47in. has a few spots which could be soaked off, the other piece is a thinner and off white color linen in 17x49in., has several holes which could be added a few stitchings or woven threads to repair it. The tatting in the darker piece just needs a little ironing, the one in the lighter piece has a few loose ends which a regular sewing thread can attached them back in place. They are very nice pieces to use on top of dressers or tables to protect the surface from scratches. They are probably from the 40's-60's. It would make a wonderful gift for yourself or someone. I have been collecting antiques since the early 1970's. I started out with a green glass chicken egg container, and later, most of them are Chinese antique porcelain and burial jade objects, others include antique embroidery, lace and linen furnishings, jewelry and glassware.
