West Bend / Regal Ware Company Info: Saladmaster Stainless Steel Cookware is owned and made since 1979 by Regal Ware Worldwide of West Bend and Kewaskum, Wisconsin. Saladmaster is equal to the West Bend Lifetime & Cook Best brand Stainless Steel Cookware. Regal Ware now owns West Bend Cookware since 2002. West Bend / Regal also mfg's. under private label license agreement for - Amerimaid, Classica Gold, CUTCO, Cordon Bleu, Kitchen Craft, Lustre Craft, Perma-Life, Royal Prestige, Royal Queen, Townecraft Stainless Steel Waterless Cookware lines. These Saladmaster 18/8 Surgical Stainless Steel Oblong Bake & Roast Pans are the same exact pans produced for all the West Bend / Regal Ware Waterless Cookware lines and for the private label license lines and are made at the same mfg. plant in West Bend, Wisconsin. These new 2009 Bake and Roast 9"x13" / Cake Pans are also LASER STAMPED on the bottom just like the previous years and now stamped - MADE IN THE USA. They are manufactured to be universal with all the West Bend / Regal Cookware Bakeware lines such as Lifetime, Cook Best, Amerimaid, Classica Gold, CUTCO, Cordon Bleu, Kitchen Craft, Lustre Craft, Perma-Life, Royal Prestige (formerly), Royal Queen, Saladmaster and Townecraft Chef's Ware, etc. Not using the BRAND NAME stamping helped with the cost of production of these pans so they would not have to run so many production lines for the same exact product. The actual cookware is still engraved with the BRAND NAMES on the bottoms or on the sides of the pans, but they no longer do this with the accessory items such as the bakeware. ** The Laser Stamping on the bottom of these BAKE & ROAST PANS reads: - MADE IN THE USA (see photos). ** Mfg. Box has UPC Stamp with numbers of # 95016 / # 1250809 This heavy duty professional stainless steel pans are easy to clean - dishwasher safe too! BAKE & ROAST PAN DESCRIPTION / DETAILS:
ALL of the pans are VERY CLEAN and shiny (see photos) - BRAND NEW - never used. Stainless Steel is smooth and has a satin feel to touch, highly polished satin finish inside, MIRROR LIKE outside in excellent BRAND NEW condition - never used. There may be some oils from the mfg. process and some very minor surface scratches (if any) from storage, but very minor and only worth the mention so you know they may be there. ** Please make sure and wash your new stainless bakeware when you receive it to remove any manufacturing oils and particles from the surfaces. ** NO dents, nics, pits, utensil scrapes or deep scratches on any of the pans, NO rust, lime or hard water stains. These bake & roast pans are BRAND spanking new in mfg. pkg and box.!
The OBLONG 9x13 BAKE & ROAST / CAKE PANS (and also the OVAL Baking Dish ) has the gourmet cut, flared and polished (not sharp) rim, they do not the rolled edge rim - very easy to clean by hand wash or in the dishwasher. The 9"x13" Bake & Roast pans are GREAT for making cakes and pans of brownies, PERFECT for making Quiche for Breakfast and pans of Lasagna too!
